Congratulation Calgary Team!

Congratulation to the Calgary Team for winning the soccer and dandi-biyo games in the sports program held in Edmonton.

The sports program, among the Nepalese Communities of Western Canada, was organized by the Nepalese Canadian Society of Edmonton (NeCaSE). The event was held on August 15, 2010 in Edmonton.

In the sports program, teams composed of members of Nepalese communities from Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Vancouver had played games to win three trophies, each for football (soccer), volleyball, and dandi-biyo.

Football details:

• 1st match: Calgary 4-2 Edmonton
• 2nd match: Edmonton 3:1 Vancouver
• 3rd match: Calgary 3:0 Vancouver
• Final Calgary 6-1 Edmonton
