First student meet 20 June, 2008
It has long been felt that contact and collaboration platform for Nepali students in the University needs to be set up for continued interaction between the students. To start it up, I propose to initiate an informal meeting place.
The site is just registered and needs to be designed properly. Your suggestions do matter and will be incorporated.
I believe it will be a helpful platform for existing students in:
- Information / news / events
- Career guides
- Share views / ideas
- Photos
- ....[you tell!]
Newcomers / perspective students can also benefit in
- Contacting current students
- Accommodation
- Information about living here
- .... [you tell]
We might need to meet some time in summer to discuss and decide on the how we can form, and benefit from a Nepali student group.
UofC Nepali students can register in the site. What a registered user can do and can't do will be decided after a discussion with members.
Now, registered users can post articles like this one.
May be discussion forum will be another platform.
Creating a email mailing list might be another priority.
